About Hauke Jung

OXIDT is the technical blog of Hauke Jung, a Rust developer, indie hacker, and solopreneur building SaaS products in public.

OXIDT is the technical blog and developer playground of Hauke Jung.

I’m a software developer, indie hacker, and solopreneur building small, practical SaaS products in public. My work sits mostly around Rust, Dioxus, Axum, developer tooling, AI-assisted workflows, automation, and useful web products.

I use this blog to document what I’m building, what I’m learning, and what breaks along the way.

What I write about

On OXIDT, you’ll find notes, guides, and experiments about:

  • Rust, Dioxus, Axum, and backend development
  • indie hacking and solo SaaS building
  • AI-assisted development workflows
  • developer tools and automation
  • observability, debugging, and DevOps
  • embedded systems and hardware experiments
  • building products like SeggWat, Stepshots, and infra.page

The goal is simple: write useful technical notes from real projects, not polished theory from a vacuum.

Building in public

I build most of my products in public: sharing progress, mistakes, product decisions, technical tradeoffs, launches, and the occasional “well, that broke” moment.

Current projects include:

  • SeggWat — a lightweight feedback widget and platform for websites
  • Stepshots — a tool for creating screenshot-based product demos
  • infra.page — an open-source dashboard for infrastructure visibility

If you’re building your own SaaS, working with Rust, or experimenting with AI-assisted development, you’ll probably find something useful here.

More about me

You can find my personal site at haukejung.de.

I’m always interested in useful software, honest product building, indie hacking, and conversations with people who are building things instead of just talking about building things.
